Big Top
Footsbarn will be erecting one of their amazing big top tents in the grounds of the Glasshouse – when you arrive at the site you won’t miss it!
Lower Glass House
The Lower Glass House was the main furnace building for the Royal Doulton Glass Factory and housed two multi-pot furnaces manned by over 100 people on 6 hour shifts. This space is a red brick building with glass windows looking out over Stourbridge. Cleared of furnaces the Lower Glass House is an open-plan “sound space” which houses the exhibition created around a small amphitheatre with exhibition mounts and different environments to exhibit the different styles of the different companies’ works.
Lehr Studio Theatre
The Lehr Studio Theatre was the cooling chamber for glass that came out of the Lower Glass House. It has been transformed into an intimate 'end-on' studio theatre with warm red brick walls and a seating capacity of 90 people.
Mask Studio
A large mask-making studio, this room is a workshop space during the Festival with full facilities for many different techniques of designing and creating masks.
Eurythmy Room
The Eurythmy Room is a small dance studio which was a glass cutting workshop situated above the coffee shop. It has a wooden floor and skylights.
