Meet The Team  
The International Mask Festival team is dedicated to  delivering the very best programme of activity and a  warm experience for those attending the festival.

The International Mask Festival team consists of:

Festival Director – Mike Chase
Mike Chase is Festival Director of the International Mask Festival.  He is artistic director of the Glasshouse Art Centre and heads up the performing Arts department at the Glasshouse College.  Michael has 28 years in the field of masks working as a maker, teacher, actor and director nationally and internationally.

He is responsible for the overall concept and shape of the festival and for the vision and implementation as a whole.

Festival Consultant – Janine Christley
Director of the Ruskin Glass Centre and the International Festival of Glass, Janine trained in creative arts and publishing. She is fascinated by how art forms can be combined to create new dynamics, particularly in a festival setting. Janine has been working with the International Mask festival in an advisory role.


Brand Consultant / E Marketing Design – Jane Belcher
Jane initially trained in Fine Art, has been working creatively with different media for many years, and currently with computer design.  She has worked with The Glasshouse Theatre for over five years developing their theatre programme and as a freelance designer. She is also a practising Biographical Counsellor.

Website and Print Design – Chris Day
Chris is a visual communications specialist working in a wide range of marketing related disciplines - as well as being the Publishing and I.T. Tutor at The Glasshouse College. Chris has spent most of the past 25 years creating identity, marketing materials, press advertising and web-based promotional projects for a wide range of SME clients across the Midlands.

As a key member of the Glasshouse's International Festival of Glass team he has experience of producing visual imagery and materials in support of the development of a highly successful public and professional festival from a standing start.

Chris is responsible for…

• Creating and managing the online communications of the International Mask Festival
• Building the International Mask Festival Website
• Consulting on the visual aspects of the event.

Marketing and Communications Project Manager – Jamie Perry
Jamie Perry is the Communications Manager for Audiences Central, the audience development agency for the arts across the West Midlands region.

Jamie has over 15 years marketing, press and campaign management experience across all sectors with award winning results.

He is responsible for leading and project managing all marketing and communications planning, creation and delivery for the International Mask Festival.

Press Officer – Jo Evans
Jo Evans has worked in Education for many years as Head of Department, Senior Teacher with responsibility for Media Liaison. She now Co-Directs Top Team Tutoring, a private tutoring business based in Stourbridge.
In a freelance capacity she markets and promotes the Glasshouse Theatre and Arts Centre at the Glasshouse. Jo has been responsible for Marketing and P.R. for Stourbridge Performing Arts Festival in 2005 and The International Festival of Glass in 2004 and 2006.

Festival Co-ordinator – Rebecca Marriott
 Rebecca Marriott has worked in Arts Administration since graduating with an MA in English Literature from University of Sheffield, and she now joins the team at the International Mask Festival as Festival Co-ordinator.
 
She is responsible for co-ordinating the programme and the events and supporting the Director and the artists involved in the festival.

Administrative Support – Kuli Skidmore-Gill
Kuli has over 15 years experience working within Product Management, Marketing and Project Co-ordinator roles.  Kuli became very interested in The Glasshouse Art Centre and attended many performances over the last couple of years after Kuli’s 3 year old daughter attended ‘The Magic of Movement’ dance class for young children on Saturday mornings.  Kuli is responsible for databasing, assisting with programming and box ofice, organising the VIP event, business sponsorship, secretarial support and liaising with performers and workshop leaders
